During the most beautiful month September, Anqing Foreign Language School is more beautiful. At 8.20 A.M. on September 1st, all the teachers and students of the east campus of Anqing Foreign Language School gathered in the playground in high spirits to attend the school opening ceremony in autumn of the 2020-2021 school year. Two students from the Senior High Department hosted the ceremony in both Chinese and English. The activity had six items of agenda.
The first agenda of the ceremony, we sing the national anthem, raise the national flag, and the five-star red flag was raised in the solemn national anthem. The new semester promises the new atmosphere.
The second item of the agenda is the wonderful speech of student representative Ma Jingyi from Class 1, Grade 9.
The third agenda is the collective oath of students. Student Fang Yizhi from Class 2, Grade 12 led the oath, which was encouraging, sonorous and forceful. The loud and clear oath reverberated in the beautiful sky of Anqing Foreign Language School.
The fourth agenda was the prize-awarding ceremony held by Secretary liu Qiongdan during which the school leaders awarded the first-class scholarship to 20 students for the previous year. The students and their parents walked proudly on the stage to accept the awards and took a group photo.
The fifth agenda are the release of doves of peace and the release of new dreams.
Finally, Vice President Liu Bing issued a speech entitled ‘Only by making strict demands on ourselves can we become more powerful.' He hoped that students would be strict with themselves in the beautiful campus and in the new academic year to shape their most perfect self, cherish the glorious youth, be down-to-earth, and work hard for a better future. Evidently, Vice Principal Liu Bing's messages overflowed with enthusiasm, which motivated everyone. Therefore, each and every one of us listened attentively and wanted to prove it with action.
To conclude, the horn of the new semester has been sounded and the new school year means the new journey. Only by working hard can we live up to the time. Thus, let us work together in beautiful Anqing Foreign Language School, be our best self, fly our dreams, and cast a new glory for Anqing Foreign Language School.
